5 Signs Your Device May Be Infected with Malware or a Virus

 With time our dependency on devices increased in million folds. With this, there is also a tremendous rise in cybercrimes. Hackers target device security and hijack files, information, and documents. Malware is spreading at a tremendous rate and it infects almost all the system. There are several ways through which you can detect the primary stage of malware or virus on the device. In this article, we try to highlight the signs of infection. They remove all the information, files, and documents that are stored.
3) Your phone keeps on restarting
There could be a possibility that due to some random malware files your device restarts. It happens because hackers hack your device and they are trying to install some malicious software on the device. If you witness this situation on your device, then shut it down immediately.
4) Ransom demand
There can be a situation in which hackers hack the device and ask for ransom from the device owner. They use ransomware to get into the device, encrypt all of the files and documents and ensure that you do not use the files until the ransom is paid.

Ransomed by Warlock Dark Army “OFFICIALS”

  Recently we came across a tweet shared by petikvx . The tweet was on a ransomware family that had the group name similar to the WARLOCK DARK ARMY. The similarities with Chaos ransomware seem to end with the attacker group’s name. Upon analyzing the ransomware from the tweet we suspect both to be very different groups just based on their malware’s attributes. The sample under consideration was compiled using C/C++, in case of Chaos ransomware it is usually .Net. Statically looking at the file we noticed a resource entry under Bitmap with an identifier “14”, while analyzing the file code we noticed that this resource was read and loaded on to the memory. MuddyWater Back with DarkBit

  Recently, we came across a tweet about DarkBit ransomware. An Iranian APT group, named MuddyWater, is reportedly behind the DarkBit ransomware. In this blog we will explore the ransomware’s initial access method, the use of Cobalt Strike and the final ransomware payload. Initial Access Method The initial lure was delivered as an ISO file.
