How to Tell Whether a Website Is Safe or Unsafe?

 Safety is one of the major concerns in today’s digital world. We spend most of our time on the internet and browse almost everything that we want to know. But is it safe? A verified SSL certificate ensures that the website is safe and secure from all sorts of cyber threats.
It is essential to ensure safety, especially if you use any e-commerce platform. Online shopping must be protected and it should be secure.
2) Find Contact information
If you visit any website for the first time, then you must look for the contact information on the website. Having contact information somehow creates a sense of security in the mind of users. If there is no contact number, then people don’t rely on the website. It does not protect you from any cyber threat but somehow it ensures that in case of any security threat, there can be someone to whom they can approach for further assistance.
3) Check the reviews
If you find a beautiful e-commerce website and you want to buy from those website, then you must check the reviews. Before making the final buying decision, the buyer must check the reviews. If they find some dicey reviews or no reviews at all then avoid those websites.
4) Look for the trust seal
A trust seal ensures that the website is safe and secure. You can trust that website. This sign usually indicates that the trust seal has HTTPS security.
5) Prefer antivirus software
In order to protect your device, the best and most preferred way is to adopt antivirus software. The antivirus software protects your device from all malicious files and keeps your account secure.
